Steven Naismith's first-half strike gave Rangers a valuable 1-0 victory in their Champions League Group C clash with Bursaspor at Ibrox.

The game started cautiously as expected but in the 18th minute the Scotland international pounced on a Kirk Broadfoot knock-down to volley in from close range.

The Light Blues survived some nervy moments before emerging with the win that gives them four points from their opening two games ahead of the visit of Valencia next month.
