Since signing with WWE in 2016, AJ Styles has had a pretty successful run.

The Phenomenal One is already a two-time (and current) WWE Champion and a former United States title holder.

In fact, he's held SmackDown Live's top belt for over half of the time he's been on the roster - and not many superstars can boast that.

NOT JUST ABOUT TITLES

Of course, it's not all about the gold. Over the last two and a half years, AJ has had a number of massive feuds.

He's been involved with the likes of John Cena, Dean Ambrose, Shane McMahon and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Obviously, with opponents like that, there's plenty of chance to see some incredible action in the ring.

But arguably, that's mostly down to Styles himself.

THE BEST IN THE WORLD

Even before he came to WWE, AJ had a reputation as being one of the best wrestlers in the world. In 2018, that suggestion seems truer than ever - as he's the man that carries the SD brand.

In theory, Vince McMahon could put Styles in a feud with absolutely anyone - and he'd still shine. I mean, just remember when he was involved with James Ellsworth.

Of course, these aren't always memorable - but no wrestler is ever going to be put in the best feud every single time.

Thankfully though, Styles has been involved in more than his fair share of top matches. And after two and a half years in WWE, he's been reflecting on some of the best.

In fact, he has a few favourites.

AJ'S PERSONAL FAVOURITES

Earlier this week, Styles did a Q&A with Amarillo.com, and the website asked him to pick his favourite ever match.

"That's tough. I have so many memorable moments so far," Styles began, per NoDQ, before selecting a few of the best.

"There is the Royal Rumble, and John Cena. There is also Roman Reigns. Then when I won the championship from Dean Ambrose. There are so many matches that are hard to pick."

There are a few surprises here - and it's interesting to note that he didn't name either of his most recent matches, against Nakamura and Samoa Joe.

Actually, his match with Roman Reigns was so long ago, that many fans will have completely forgotten about it.

Still, though, it's easy to see why he rates his debut at the Royal Rumble and his first feud with Cena - after all, that was one that put him into the main event in WWE.
