When Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, his win did more than just crown a new Universal Champion.

Yes, The Big Dog did finally get his hands on RAW's top prize, but he also appeared to banish The Beast from WWE.

RETURNING TO UFC

Of course, we all know that in reality, Lesnar dropped the title as he's soon going to return to the UFC - and SummerSlam was his last actual contracted WWE appearance.

That's all well and good for the man himself - but it leaves his on-screen advocate, Paul Heyman, in an interesting position.

During Brock's run, it was Heyman who made more TV appearances, often acting as his mouthpiece and re-laying his message to the fans.

Now that his one and only client has left, it's unclear what WWE are going to do with him - but there's plenty of talk.

RUMOURED ROLES

After Kevin Owens 'quit' on RAW a couple of weeks ago, there was a lot of suggestion that he would be brought back as the next 'Paul Heyman guy'.

That doesn't appear to be the case though, considering KO has already made an appearance on TV since - attacking Bobby Lashley.

Also heavily rumoured was a partnership between Paul and Ronda Rousey. That would be particularly interesting, considering she'd be the first female wrestler with him as a manager.

According to the latest reports, that could still be the case. But a working relationship between Rousey and Heyman only tells half of an exciting story.

A NEW STABLE

On a special news edition of the Barnburner Fired Up podcast, Joe Peisich revealed that there's backstage talk about putting Heyman in charge of a whole stable.

"There is still some talk going around when Paul Heyman does return he’ll have a stable," the journalist revealed, per Ringside News.

"Maybe Ronda Rousey, maybe Kevin Owens, maybe some other guys. But there’s still some talk within the WWE of having Paul Heyman run a stable."

That's a very interesting suggestion, and it's one that fans will certainly be on board with. Let's be honest, whatever Heyman is involved with is usually great - and this would be no exception.
