FIFA 19 ratings have finally been revealed and, for the first ever time, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo share the same rating.

Last year, Ronaldo was rated higher but in the latest edition, Messi will join him on 94.

However, this could well be the final year that the two superstars are head and shoulders above every other player in the game.

Messi and Ronaldo have shared the previous 10 Ballon d’Ors but they are now both in their early 30s and their duopoly won’t last too much longer.

But that won’t stop FIFA gamers from wanting to be Barcelona and Juventus so they can take charge of the two best players in the game.

In fact, one Manchester United fan wanted both of them in his side - and made sure that happened.

FIFA Youtuber Tobiias tried signing both Messi and Ronaldo on the new game for his beloved United side in Career Mode.

First, he fast-forwarded one season because the chances of him convincing Ronaldo to leave Juventus immediately after joining was nigh-on impossible.

So, after simulating the first campaign, Tobiias set about signing both Ronaldo and Messi.

After not spending a penny in the first window, United were left with a ridiculous £400,530,408 transfer budget - enough to sign both Messi and Ronaldo.

And after some tough negotiations, Tobiias actually managed to convince an ageing Messi and an ageing Ronaldo to Old Trafford.

A 34-year-old Cristiano cost a mere £100 million, while a 32-year-old Messi cost a crazy £143,100,000.

But they were happy enough to play alongside one another at the Theatre of Dreams as they accepted lucrative contracts.

But how did United get on with Messi and Ronaldo in their squad?

Tobiias simulated the following season with Messi and Ronaldo in the XI and it’s hardly surprising that they won the Premier League - albeit by just two points.

So, if any United fans want to have both Messi and Ronaldo in their side in Career Mode, just wait 12 months and you’ll be able to sign both.
