Liverpool's defence has improved substantially in 2018.After improving immensely in defence during the second half of the 2017/18 Premier League campaign, Liverpool's defence has been rock solid again to start this season.Jurgen Klopp's men have conceded just once in their opening four games and even that goal could have easily been avoided had it not been for Alisson's disastrous mistake against Leicester City.A lot of credit for their improved defence has got to go to the emergence of two youngster's into the first team.Trent Alexander-Arnold was a revelation for the Reds last season. He has evolved into one of the best right-backs in the Premier League since becoming a regular.Gomez, too, deserves praise.The former Charlton defender has profited from Dejan Lovren's absence and has formed a solid partnership with Virgil van Dijk at the back.With FIFA 19 set to come out at the end of the month, Liverpool fans were hoping that they would both be rewarded for their performances.Their stats for the upcoming game have now been released - and it's fair to say Reds fans aren't pleased at all.View their ratings below:

Alexander-Arnold has been rated at just 78, with his pace rating his highest attribute with 80.

Gomez is rated just 76 - despite making massive strides in the past season.

It's also worth noting he is a right-back and, despite being one of Liverpool's fastest players, his pace attribute is just 77.

Their ratings do seem a little harsh.

Liverpool fans have been complaining about their stats and they have every right to be.

They believe the two have been hard done by, with many stating that they deserve to be rated a couple of numbers higher at least.

Alexander-Arnold, however, was happy with his card.

The 19-year-old was rated just 68 on FIFA 18, meaning he has enjoyed an increase of 10 points for the upcoming edition of the game.

And he took to Instagram to express his thanks to EA for the increase.
