Braun Strowman is having the time of his life on Monday Night Raw in the WWE as he's arguably the most popular superstar on the brand.

For many fans, The Monster Among Men is seen as the alternative instead of getting behind the red brand's top babyface and Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

He's being built in that manner too, as his in-ring record for the number of times which he has been pinned since the July 2016 brand split, where his singles push really began.

In roughly 90 total matches across Raw, pay-per-view, and the Mixed Match Challenge, but not including house shows, Strowman has only been pinned three times.

Of those three pins, he was pinned by the same superstar twice, that being Reigns, while the other time he was pinned by Brock Lesnar.

The fact Strowman has only been pinned three times since the 2016 brand split is why he's so popular with the WWE, but recently, a Reddit user brought up an alarming point about his recent and upcoming run.

Fech93 stated on Reddit that Strowman's recent push is a lot like that of Ryback at the time he was challenging CM Punk for the WWE Championship several years ago.

They said: "Anyone else getting a Ryback dejavu with Strowman?

"Both monster characters who were massively over as babyfaces, hurt by losing title matches (Ryback was never going over Punk, Braun will not go over Reigns), then both turned heel only to be buried and never regained their following...yay or nay?"

You can see where this Reddit user is coming from, and it's quite worrying how their pushes seem so similar.

With Strowman predicted to lose this weekend in a Hell in a Cell match, where pinfall or submission is the only way to lose, it seems pin number four could happen this Sunday.

The Monster Among Men won't be out of the main event picture for good following this Sunday, but a loss might do more damage to him than some might think.
