Manchester United ran out 2-1 winners at Vicarage Road on Saturday evening to end Watford's perfect Premier League record.

Jose Mourinho's side were two up at half-time thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Chris Smalling.

But, after Andre Gray fired home in the 65th minute, Man United had to withstand a spirited Watford fightback to secure all three points.

Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea made a stunning save late in stoppage time to deny the Hornets a dramatic equaliser.

They face Wolves, West Ham and Newcastle in their next three Premier League outings.

As all Premier League manager are contracted to do, Mourinho answered questions from reporters in his post-match press conference.

But one journalist spotted a conversation the Portuguese coach had with a Watford employee before the press conference began.

Heartwarming Mourinho

About to take questions, Mourinho first approached a Watford employee to ask for the wifi code.

He's often portrayed negatively in the media but Manchester Evening News journalist Ciaran Kelly tweeted the lovely encounter Mourinho shared with an unnamed woman.

That's a really classy touch from Mourinho - it clearly meant a lot to her.

He was in a playful mood in the press conference too, mocking Chris Smalling over his latest hairstyle.

"Smalling was good, the only thing I don't like from Chris at this moment is his haircut, but I am nobody to tell him that," joked Mourinho, as per Goal.

Man United begin their Champions League campaign against Young Boys on Wednesday night.

The Reds won the Europa League in 2017 but were knocked out by Sevilla in the Champions League knockout stages last season.
