You just knew that Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s 500th career goal was going to be a little bit special.Zlatan joined Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the list of active players that have reached the incredible tally by producing a spinning backheel volley during LA Galaxy’s 5-3 defeat to Toronto. After the match, Zlatan reacted in typical Zlatan style."I'm happy for Toronto because they'll be remembered as my 500th victim," Ibrahimovic said. The 36-year-old has played 747 times for Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris St-Germain, Manchester United and LA Galaxy, scoring 438 club goals. He’s also notched 62 goals in 114 appearances for the Swedish national side.As you’d expect, tributes have been rolling in for the legendary striker after reaching the landmark.

And that includes former United teammate Paul Pogba.

Pogba took to Instagram to post a rather brilliant message to Ibrahimovic in which he says he’s been “watching too much Jackie Chan” in reference to his acrobatic goal.

POGBA'S MESSAGE TO ZLATAN

Take a look:

Beautiful.

It seems Pogba and Zlatan have an unlikely bromance blossoming despite the 12 year age difference between them.

Following Pogba’s World Cup victory with France where he scored in the final against Croatia, Zlatan hit out at his critics.

"I think you have the players that are above the stars," Ibrahimovic said. "I don't find him there yet. He is a fantastic player and can become the one above the stars.

"He has more to give. He can develop. He can do more. But he is still young.

"He won probably more on the big stage than the people who are judging him.

"We should not forget Paul has played in a Champions League final. A European final with the national team. He just won the World Cup. Europa League final. He won many titles in Italy. He won a couple with United. He won many trophies as a youth also. What more do you want?"
