He may be the club captain, but Jordan Henderson is currently struggling to get into this Liverpool side. For the fourth time in their opening five games, Jurgen Klopp has opted for a midfield trio of Naby Keita, Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner, meaning Henderson has had to make do with a place on the bench following his return from the World Cup.Henderson has started one match this season, though - Liverpool’s 2-1 victory against Leicester before the recent international break. However, the skipper wasn’t too convincing and was eventually substituted for Keita. He was dropped back to the bench for the visit to Spurs on Saturday, coming on as a sub with 15 minutes remaining as Liverpool made it five wins out of five. And one Liverpool fan thinks he’s worked out why Henderson is out of favour right now.A video has emerged of Henderson against Leicester earlier this month and his performance has been analysed. The main focus of the video shows Henderson failing to give his teammates an option to pass the ball to him on numerous occasions and generally being tactically inept.

Take a look:

It perhaps is the reason Klopp is currently favouring Keita, Wijnaldum and Milner at the moment.

Those three midfielders have impressed this season and are always wanting to get on the ball and build attacks.

But Liverpool now have a very tough run of fixtures coming up and their captain will surely play an important role as they compete on all four fronts this season.

Following their win against Spurs, Liverpool face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday before hosting Southampton in the Premier League next weekend.

They then have two clashes against table-toppers Chelsea - in the League Cup and the league - before travelling to Napoli in the Champions League.

They finish their grueling run of fixtures with a home match against Manchester City.

Henderson will be desperate to be involved but faces a very tough task to get himself into Klopp’s starting XI.
