There's not a brutal spot that the Hell in a Cell match hasn't seen over the 21 years it's been active.Superstars thrown from the top of the cell? Check.Wrestlers slammed into a pile of thumbtacks? Check.Thrown through the Cell wall? Check. But Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy produced a gruesome moment last night that was unique and has never been seen in a WWE ring before. The match itself was a fun one. There was a lot of options and cases from the SmackDown Live matches for any of them to be inside the structure, but Hardy and Orton got their chance and ran with it.The bout ended when Hardy decided to climb across the ceiling of the cell to try and fall onto Orton's prone body that lay on a table, only for the 'Viper' to move and send Hardy crashing through the wood and into the mat.But that, or the horrific leg and back injuries Orton suffered weren't the most stomach-churning moments in the match. As seen in recent episodes of SmackDown Live, Orton has been exploiting the stretched earlobe of Hardy on multiple occasions, leaving fans in the arena and at home cringing whilst watching. But the 'Legend Killer' took it one step further inside the Cell when he brought a toolbox out from underneath the ring. And what happened next was just horrible.

Yep, Orton stuck a screwdriver through the exposed lobe and twisted it around like it was a piece of play-dough.

If that doesn't scream 'sadistic heel', nothing does.

There's been many brutal spots over the years but for some reason, the earlobe is the most gut-wrenching thing some fans have seen in a while.

It looks like that may be it for a while for Hardy though, as he was stretchered out of the Cell. A well-deserved rest is coming for his body, and his lobe.
