The main event  of Hell in a Cell pitted the two heavyweights of the company against each other once again - Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. The two squared off for Reigns' Universal Championship, and to give the match some more flavour, Mick Foley was added in as a special guest referee.Foley actually almost ruined the match by botching what was meant to be a two-count when Strowman pinned Reigns, hitting his hand against the mat three times by mistake. And the contest got even more interesting when Shield members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins clashed with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler on-top of the new red Cell, with Rollins and Ziggler crashing through announce tables from halfway up the side. But that wasn't the end of the drama. As the two competitors lay on the mat inside the ring for a good five minutes, Brock Lesnar made a shock return, kicking down the door to the structure and brutalising Reigns and Strowman with broken pieces of table and a pair of F5's.It wasn't a huge shock to hardcore fans that Lesnar was there - it had been picked-up on by several journalists that he was backstage in San Antonio - but many thought the 'Beast Incarnate' would be gone for the foreseeable future.Lesnar is next-in-line to Daniel Cormier's world heavyweight title in the UFC, and the general consensus was that his focus was on MMA. But this has thrown a spanner in the works. The most confusing part of the outcome of the match though was that in a match where 'anything goes', the result was a 'No Contest' - both superstars were 'unable to continue' by an outside referee after Foley was taken-out by Paul Heyman. And understandably fans weren't so amused when a clear winner wasn't announced.

The fans are clearly in agreement - the chant in the arena just sums it all up.

The conspiracy theories are all out there, mostly that Vince McMahon is trying to protect Reigns from a defeat, but there's also the matter of a rematch to take place.

With The Shield squaring off against Strowman, McIntyre and Ziggler at Super Show-Down in 3 weeks time, and Survivor Series not until mid-November, it looks like we could be waiting a while for Reigns' next defence.
