Burton boss Paul Peschisolido could make sweeping changes for the league visit of Wycombe.

The Canadian rested regulars Darren Moore, Aaron Webster, John McGrath and Shaun Harrad against Rotherham in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy on Wednesday night and they could all return to the side.

Moore (hamstring) and fellow defender Webster (knee) were nursing slight injuries and they will be assessed.

Adam Legzdins (dislocated finger) was not risked against the Millers and it remains to be seen whether he will replace 47-year-old Kevin Poole in goal.

Another possible change could be in midfield after Adam Bolder played his first 90 minutes in midweek since suffering a dislocated shoulder just over a month ago.

Bolder is still building up his match fitness and two games in the space of four days could be too much for the 29-year-old.

Wycombe boss Gary Waddock is set to revert to his first-choice XI for the trip.

Waddock made five changes for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at Colchester in midweek but will recall veteran winger Gareth Ainsworth among others.

Ainsworth made both goals at Stevenage last weekend and will start as Waddock looks to build on three straight wins.

Defender Dave Winfield has returned from illness and is in contention to start after coming through 90 minutes at Colchester.

Former Leeds midfielder Ian Westlake is available after he returned from an ankle injury, while Jon-Paul Pittman will be out for at least four months after undergoing surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in his knee.

On-loan Reading midfielder Scott Davies is hoping to keep his place after scoring in midweek.
