In recent months, there's been a lot of talk about Hulk Hogan making his return to WWE.

The former Hall of Famer was dismissed in 2015 after recordings of him making offensive comments surfaced.

It seemed that WWE wanted to completely disassociate themselves with HH and removed virtually all references to him from their website and even took his merchandise off the WWE Shop.

Three years ago, it looked that there was no way he'd ever be involved with the company again - but that may have changed now.

A POSSIBLE COMEBACK?

Earlier this summer, Hogan was spotted backstage at Extreme Rules.

Apparently, he was there to apologise to the current WWE roster - and this was said to be the first step towards his return.

Following that, he was reinstated into the Hall of Fame and it's been reported that WWE have been filming with nWo too.

Now, it looks like The Hulkster could be making another big appearance for WWE very soon - and it would likely officially confirm his comeback.

RETURNING TO A PPV

According to Mike Johnson of PW Insider, per Rajah, WWE could be looking to book Hogan at November's Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.

The belief is that "Hulkamania" is one of the wrestlers that Saudi officials want to appear at the PPV and it's also something WWE want to make happen.

However, Johnson also reports that even after Hogan's locker room apology, there are still a significant amount of people backstage who are not supportive of him returning to TV.

Despite that, it's unlikely that WWE would go through the motions of reinstating him into the Hall of Fame if a comeback wasn't being planned.

Interestingly, Hogan isn't the only former star that's expected to return at Crown Jewel - because he could well be joined by a legend.

A BIG EVENT

Earlier this week, it was reported that Shawn Michaels could be making his in-ring return in November, in a tag team match with Triple H against The Undertaker and Kane

If he does so, then Crown Jewel could be one of the most exciting events of the year - and it's clear that Vince McMahon is pulling out all the stops.
