When LeBron James arrives a team, he brings the demand of a winning culture and mantra with him.

It happened with the Cleveland Cavaliers. It happened with the Miami Heat. Now, following his big free agency move this past summer, it's happening at the Los Angeles Lakers.

Even before the Lakers' training camp has even begun, the team's president of basketball operations Magic Johnson has seen LeBron's magic at work.

Speaking to the media, Magic recalled watching James take part in practice, citing that it's a privilege to see the work he puts in day-in and day-out.

According to Ryan Ward of Clutch Points, Magic says LeBron "rallies everybody" in scrimmages, adding: "He's like a magnet. It's beautiful. He thinks 3 or 4 plays ahead, & you get to see it."

The Lakers front office must be happy to see the squad already going above and beyond to get the team ready for the 2018-19 season, which is filled with huge expectations.

Due to the arrival of LeBron in Los Angeles this past summer, many people believe the Lakers could find themselves in the playoffs for the first time in five years.

The four-time MVP winner brings that expectation with him wherever he goes, as he's been to each of the past eight NBA Finals with the Heat and the Cavaliers.

LeBron appears to be uniting the Lakers' young core with the veterans of Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson, Michael Beasley, and JaVale McGee who joined the team this offseason as well.

The next step will be bringing this chemistry from the practice court to the real court when the season begins next month against the Portland Trail Blazers on October 18.
