AJ Styles and Samoa Joe have one of the most personal feuds in the WWE right now and even though they've met in several other promotions, they are still managing to keep their rivalry fresh.Styles has been the WWE champion for close to a full year now and is in his second reign at the top of the mountain.Joe, on the other hand, is yet to taste gold on the WWE main roster but has become a true fan favourite thanks to his tremendous promos and stellar matches. Both former staples of TNA, it was once hard to imagine that either man would be headlining a WWE event like SummerSlam, much less for the WWE title or, against each other.Their bout at SummerSlam was a hard-hitting affair that resulting in a DQ finish after Styles totally lost his cool following a mid-match Joe promo.Joe would tell Style's wife and daughter in attendance "don't worry, I'll be your new daddy" and that seemed to be the limit for the phenomenal one.Following the finish, Styles would talk to his family and his daughter would alert him to the fact that he was bleeding - a moment that melted the internet's heart.Speaking at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando at a WWE 2K19 launch event, GiveMeSport asked Styles what that was like for him on live TV.

"It was one of those things like 'oh, I am bleeding!' so yeah, I don't know how to explain that man. It was a weird moment, a crazy moment, I loved having them there - and don't worry about my daughter. She's fine, she wasn't traumatised whatsoever.

"If you know anything about the insides of this business, everything was just fine. But you know, I don't want to come out here and tell you the insides - that's not what I do. You're not Dave Meltzer and I wouldn't tell him either!"

It would seem based on AJ's comments that the interaction with his family was certainly planned but his daughter's comments were not. How could they have been? He didn't know he was going to bleed for starters.

Styles and Joe are continuing their rivalry as the WWE heads to an incredibly busy period that sees trips to Australia and Saudi Arabia, as well as the first-ever all women's PPV, all within the next month.
