Anthony Joshua dug deep to secure a seventh round victory against Alexander Povetkin on Saturday night.

He remains unbeaten in his 22 professional fights, with 21 of those wins coming by knockout.

But who does Joshua fight next? That is the question most boxing fans are now asking following his triumph.

Joshua made it clear that he wants Deontay Wilder to be his next opponent.

"My number one (choice) would be Wilder. No contract's signed," he said in the ring after the fight.

And Eddie Hearn echoed those feelings and claimed that Joshua's next fight will either be Wilder or Dillian Whyte.

"Joshua's a real world champion; we will go away now and try and make a fight with (Deontay) Wilder.

"(This) was about getting that big banana skin of Alexander Povetkin out the way. If it's not Deontay Wilder then it will be Whyte here on April 13."

One man who will be disappointed in that news is Tyson Fury.

The Manchester born fighter has been chasing a fight with Joshua ever since making his comeback to the sport earlier this year.

Hearn has seemed to rule out Fury as being Joshua's next opponent and he launched a quite brutal dig at him in explaining why.

"I don't want to be disrespectful, but Tyson Fury is the most unentertaining fighter I've ever seen," Hearn said.

"He's never been in a good fight in his whole career, apart from [Steve] Cunningham, where he got knocked down.

"Deontay Wilder against Anthony Joshua is the biggest fight in world boxing and stylistically it is the most exciting match-up you could possible make in boxing."

Ouch. It's fair to say he doesn't have a high opinion of Fury at all.

Fury sent an angry message to Hearn and Joshua after the bout and Hearn's comments will only infuriate him more.

It could be considered a little harsh, but basing on Fury's last couple of fights, some will actually agree with Hearn.
