Jose Mourinho has a big problem at Manchester United - and his name is Paul Pogba.

Recent developments have seen the Portuguese manager demote Pogba as vice captain, drop him against Derby County in the Carabao Cup and argue with him in training this week.

And it's all because of what happened before and after United's disappointing draw against Wolves over the weekend.

Pogba was reportedly a disruptive figure on the team bus en route to the Wolves game at Old Trafford and questioned Mourinho's tactics afterwards.

In his own words, the Frenchman said United should "attack, attack, attack" at home instead of playing defensively.

Mourinho reacted by stripping Pogba of the vice captaincy in front of his United teammates and excluding him from the squad to face Derby.

Pogba then uploaded a video onto Instagram of himself, Andreas Pereira and Luke Shaw in the stands during the game and that's what caused the training ground row with Mourinho.

NO END IN SIGHT

As a result of all the above, Pogba now wants to leave United and Mourinho is determined to make the move happen in January. Barcelona are potential suitors.

But with three months remaining until the January transfer window opens, there's a sense that a lot could still happen if the situation isn't resolved.

One worrying scenario is a dressing room mutiny and according to the Daily Mail, one is already starting to take shape with Pogba the leader.

Pogba has apparently created a 'rebel group' against Mourinho and he's recruited two unhappy teammates: Anthony Martial and Eric Bailly.

Martial and Bailly have both been out of favour under Mourinho for most of 2018 and it's no secret that they're frustrated.

Pereira has also grown closer to Pogba amid his bust-up with Mourinho and it's been noted that the 22-year-old recently purchased a brand new white Bentley.

What's clear is Pogba's influence in the United dressing room is growing and tensions are rising at the club because of it.

How this saga ends really is anyone's guess, but with Pogba and Mourinho both unprepared to back down it's not going to be pretty.
