At this current moment in WWE, both Raw and SmackDown are working towards three huge special events at the same time.

Super Show-Down emanates first from Melbourne, Australia on October 6, then we move onto the all-women pay-per-view Evolution on October 28, and just five days later the WWE fans will witness Crown Jewel, live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Caught your breath yet?

The card for Super Show-Down is pretty much set, with only a few matches confirmed for Evolution, whilst Crown Jewel already has a main event set in the form of a Universal Championship triple threat match between Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman.

And with Survivor Series just two weeks after the second Saudi special event, the weekly product could be about to get more confusing.

The main feuds running into Super Show-Down are the personal affair between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe on SmackDown Live, whilst on Raw, the whole show seems to be centred round The Shield against the 'Dogs of War' faction of Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.

By the time Survivor Series is done in mid-November though, fans will be hoping for some fresh rivalries heading into TLC and the Royal Rumble.

So we've listed three feuds that could really get the pulses of the WWE Universe racing as we reach the final quarter of 2018.

ROMAN REIGNS V DREW MCINTYRE

Reigns will defend his Universal Championship against former champ Lesnar and another long-time, and current rival in the form of Strowman on November 2 at Crown Jewel.

According to the current odds on SkyBet, Reigns is a clear favourite to walk out of Saudi Arabia as the champion, meaning that he can start a fresh feud heading into 2019.

And the perfect challenger would be McIntyre. The 'Scottish Psychopath' has been gradually eased back into the main roster after a stint away from the company, then in NXT, and he has all the makings of a true WWE star.

In fact, from recent booking, which includes his Raw Tag Team Championship run with Ziggler, he's seemingly in prime position to be the next challenger to the belt. Wins over Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have only furthered his stock, and since his return to Raw, McIntyre hasn't been pinned or submitted.

If the feud did happen, imagine the crowd reaction if McIntyre was to win the Universal title, and fulfil the star potential he's always had.

SAMOA JOE V DANIEL BRYAN

By the time Super Show-Down has started, AJ Styles will be nearly 11 months into his latest WWE Championship reign, a truly mammoth amount of time.

There's a theory that Vince McMahon wants Styles to hold the belt past CM Punk's notorious 434-day reign, ultimately to just scrub his name from the record books.

But many fans think it's time for a change - and Samoa Joe would be the perfect man to hold the belt.

Joe brings an intensity to the ring that not many others do, and whilst Styles' long-awaited feud with Shinsuke Nakamura was a bit of a let-down, the current feud with Joe is bubbling and is waiting to explode.

And should he capture gold in Australia, the fantasy booking would be to have Daniel Bryan defeat long-term foe The Miz to become number-one contender for Joe's newly-won title.

We got a glimpse of the kind of match the pair could put together on SmackDown Live in June, but a full-blown feud between the two could be off the charts.

SHINSUKE NAKAMURA V REY MYSTERIO

It's been reported recently that the master of the 619 has signed a two-year deal to come back to the WWE, after impressive showings at both the Royal Rumble and the Greatest Royal Rumble.

Mysterio has been working in promotions such as New Japan Pro Wrestling, Lucha Underground and AAA Worldwide for the last few years, and has got himself into phenomenal shape for a 43-year-old.

And reports suggest that it could be as soon as next week before we see Mysterio back on our television screens, but whether it's on Raw or SmackDown remains to be seen.

After winning the United States Championship from Jeff Hardy at Extreme Rules, Shinsuke Nakamura hasn't done much at all on SmackDown. But the re-introduction of Mysterio could give him a new challenger, a fresh match-up, and a potential classic.

In-fact, Mysterio's return brings up a whole new set of potential feuds in itself - Andrade 'Cien' Almas, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, the list is practically endless.
