What is going on at Manchester United right now?

The Red Devils already find themselves eight points off the top of the Premier League and crashed out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Derby County on Tuesday.

But things off the pitch seem to be in an even worse state than what’s happening on the pitch.

The relationship between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba is at an all-time low, while the Portuguese boss did nothing for the morale of Phil Jones and Eric Bailly when he admitted they were “in trouble” if they had to take a penalty against Derby.

Then there was Anthony Martial - who Mourinho fined in pre-season for returning home from their tour of the United States to attend the birth of his child.

And now, it seems Marcus Rashford is next in the firing line.

According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho has warned the youngster over his attitude.

The report states that the manager criticised Rashford after United’s 3-0 Champions League win against Young Boys last week for “failing to complete a proper warm-down.”

Rashford was substituted during the victory and didn’t follow the instruction from coaching staff after the game.

The report adds: “Mourinho then challenged the 20-year-old striker and warned Rashford that he is not too important to do as he is told.”

But this isn’t an isolated incident.

The Daily Mail go on to state that there have been "concerns about Rashford’s attitude at United since he returned” from the World Cup.

Rashford has, once again, found it hard to start regularly under Mourinho this season. And his frustrations have got the better of him this season after he was shown a straight red card for a headbutt on Phil Bardsley at Burnley earlier this month.

He’s since been banned for three domestic matches but will be available to face West Ham this weekend.

Whether Mourinho will name Rashford in the starting XI or leave him on the bench remains to be seen...
