It was once teased that Big Show would never leave the WWE due to his 'iron-clad contract' that has been brought up one or two times on television.

But many were wondering if he was still about after not being seen since September 2017.

However the 'Worlds Largest Athlete' suddenly re-appeared on an episode of Monday Night Raw a few weeks ago to help promote the Connors Cure charity.

The last time Show competed on WWE TV was over a year ago - in a Steel Cage match with fellow behemoth Braun Strowman.

The bout ended when Strowman powerslammed his way to victory, then showed his strength by running Show straight through the cage wall.

This was done to let Show, real name Paul Wight, undergo hip surgery, which can take a while to recover from, especially for a man of his size who is a professional wrestler.

So after not performing for a year, the question must be asked - what's next for the Big Show?

Well, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, per Cageside Seats, Show has gained a new role within the WWE hierarchy.

The Newsletter states that Wight has become an ambassador for the company now, which is probably the reason behind promoting Connors Cure on Raw.

Wight has been the ultimate company man since he joined from WCW in 1999, and is closing in on his 20-year anniversary working under Vince McMahon.

But it doesn't look like there will be an immediate return to the ring, as the Observer also states that there is no plans going forward to use Show in a competitive capacity.

In a way, that is pretty disappointing. Before the end of his last stint in his feud with Strowman, Show was pulling-off moves that he could probably only do around the time of his debut in the WWE.

The top-rope elbow drop to Strowman in the Cage match was a crowd-popping moment for sure, and i'm sure we speak for all the WWE Universe when we say we hope Show hasn't wrestled his final match in his career, as he deserves a proper in-ring send off for when he wants to bow out.
