Oxford have placed Sam Deering on the transfer list, with the midfielder currently looking to secure a switch to Leyton Orient having joined the League One club on trial this week.

The 19-year-old has struggled for first-team opportunities at the Kassam Stadium following the club`s promotion to the Football League, making a total of six substitute appearances in all competitions.

Deering has now been made available for loan or transfer by manager Chris Wilder, with Orient having the first look at him after Russell Slade previously expressed an interest in his services.
