The Scottish Premiership looks set to be rather intriguing this season.Steven Gerrard’s arrival at Rangers has mixed things up, while Hearts lead the way after an incredible start to the campaign. But Celtic’s poor form has certainly made things exciting for the rest of the league.Brendan Rodgers’ side have already lost to Hearts and Kilmarnock this season, while they could only draw against St Mirren. It was Celtic’s worst start to an SPL campaign for 20 years. They desperately needed to beat Aberdeen on Saturday to get their season back on track and they did just that - albeit narrowly.Scott Sinclair’s strike just after the hour mark clinched all three points as they moved up to fifth, still six points behind league leaders Hearts. But that match might not be remembered for Sinclair’s winner.Instead, a very cheeky moment from Scott Brown made the headlines.During the second half, Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes wrote his player, Graeme Shinnie, a little note. The note probably contained important instructions or tactics. However, Shinnie didn’t get to read it because it was snatched out of his hand by Celtic’s Tom Rogic.Brown then got involved by taking the note from Rogic, reading it and then running over to his manager Rodgers to hand him it.

It was something Aberdeen boss McInnes spoke about after the match.

“I could say something but I won’t,” he said.

“But what I will say is he ran straight to his manager, didn’t he? Like all good wee boys.

“To be fair what was written on the paper was not anything which was complicated.”

However, Rodgers tried to laugh off Brown’s actions by saying: “It was a bit of respect, really.

“There was obviously a bit of banter there.

“I maybe couldn’t have read his writing anyway! It was good fun.”

Never change, Broony.
