Liverpool will look to send another message to the rest of Europe when they take on Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The Reds, finalists in the competition last season, recorded a spirited 3-2 victory over Paris Saint-Germain last month to jump to the top of Group C.
It is thought that PSG will be Liverpool’s toughest group stage opponents but Napoli won’t be a pushover.
Their squad is filled with talent, including Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Mertens and Marek Hamsik, while Carlo Ancelotti’s record in Europe speaks for itself.
The Italian coach has won the Champions League three times in his managerial career, twice at AC Milan and once as the manager of Real Madrid.
Ancelotti certainly knows how to get the job done in Europe.
He was unable to bring continental success to Bayern Munich, though, reaching the semi-final of the competition in 2016-17.
Kassai controversy
Bayern were beaten by Real Madrid in a hugely controversial second leg tie.
And the scars of that match will be brought back to Ancelotti - the referee for the second leg, Viktor Kassai, will take charge of Napoli’s match against Liverpool on Wednesday.
Kassai made two decisions in the second leg, which Real Madrid went on to win 6-3 on aggregate, that prompted Ancelotti to claim: “the referee probably wasn't up to the task”.
The Hungarian referee sent Arturo Vidal off for two bookable offences and then, with the game in extra-time, allowed a Cristiano Ronaldo goal despite the Portuguese forward being in a clear offside position.

Ancelotti: Too little time has passed
It’s easy to see why Ancelotti is surprised that Kassai will take charge of Napoli against Liverpool.
“The referee reminds me of bad memories relating to my last team,” the 59-year-old coach said.
“I’m surprised by the referee designation, time heals all wounds but too little time has passed.”
Here’s hoping that Kassai doesn’t become the centre of attention following Wednesday’s match.
