Dagenham & Redbridge captain Mark Arber has signed a new one-year contract with the League One outfit.

The defender, who skippered the Daggers to promotion last season, will now remain at Victoria Road until May 2012 with his previous deal set to expire at the end of this season.

He told the club's official website: "It feels good to have my future sorted. I'm fully focused on Dagenham & Redbridge FC."

Arber joined the club permanently in May 2008 having enjoyed two loan spells and has now made 127 appearances.
