For many years now, WWE has relied upon its NXT brand to develop future superstars for Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live on the main roster.
Every year, usually just after WrestleMania, talent is called up from NXT to WWE's main roster, putting the skills they've learnt from the likes of Triple H and other NXT trainers into practice on the big stage.
So far, it has had many great success stories like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens in the men's division, and Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks for the women's division.
NXT's biggest success is arguably helping shape the women's division to what it is today, transforming women's matches from 30-second affairs to lengthy and meaningful contests.
With talent like Bianca Belair, Nikki Cross, Kairi Sane, Shayna Baszler waiting for their call-up, the future is very bright for what is already the best women's division the WWE has ever had in its history.
Speaking to our own Alex McCarthy, Charlotte spoke about the current talent in NXT, revealing who is her favourite superstar in the division.
With conviction, The Queen said: “Bianca Belair. She is the future. She’s a real stud.”
There is plenty more talent like Belair, Cross, Sane, Baszler, Aleister Black, Johhny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Velveteen Dream, and Ricochet just waiting in NXT for their opportunity to shine on the big stage.
Belair has only had just over 100 matches for the WWE since making her debut for the company two years ago in 2016, but she already looks more than ready for the main roster.
The next goal for her to achieve though in NXT would be capturing the NXT Women's Championship, something which she is yet to do on the brand.
However, if she already has the backing of one of the best in the business in Charlotte, the future must be bright for the EST of NXT.
