If there's one dream match which WWE fans would love to see the most, it's The Undertaker vs Sting.
Unfortunately, though, it's unlikely to ever happen as the WCW icon is now retired after he picked up a series neck injury in his last match for the WWE.
If it did happen though, it probably would have been one of the most compelling feuds WWE fans have ever witnessed due to the nature and the allure of the superstars involved.
He said: “I had so many ideas that developed over a couple of decades based on his character and my character and some of the ideas I had in my head, someday somebody’s gonna do cool stuff like that with characters that are similar and it all has to do with sleight of hand and special effects and holograms and oh man, I had some ideas that would have rocked everybody.
"It would have matched his character and mine. I believe it would have left people with their jaws open and they would have been very entertained. Let’s just say disappearing acts.
"You remember years ago with the whole Sting thing with all the portals in the arenas? You’d see Sting come out of the portal over there on the north side of the arena. No, there he is on the east. No there’s another one. There were a whole bunch of Stings, you know?
"This kind of stuff; but, possibly with the real Sting at one point where it’s most definitely me. Let’s just say disappearing acts. That’s all I want to say”
This would have been an incredible sight to see and it would fit right into a feud between Sting and The Undertaker as it matches the mystique of both their characters.
It's a shame we never got to see this feud happen in the WWE, but we've seen many superstars come out of retirement before for one more match, so it's impossible to say it will never happen.
Sting hasn't appeared in the WWE since his Hall of Fame induction in 2016, while The Undertaker is still competing, and will take on Triple H at Super Show-Down this weekend.
