Real Madrid are learning to live without Cristiano Ronaldo.

After nine years at the Santiago Bernabeu, the club's all-time leading goalscorer signed for Juventus in an €105m transfer.

Julen Lopetegui's side have failed to win each of their last three games - and, remarkably, have failed to register a single goal.

It's the first time Real Madrid have gone three consecutive games without scoring since January 2007.

After the shock 1-0 defeat to CSKA Moscow, Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas admitted that Real Madrid miss Ronaldo.

"Cristiano left the bar very high at Real Madrid," said Navas. "You cannot cover the sun with a finger.

"He made many goals while he was here, but it's already the past and we cannot live in the past."

Marca poll

Madrid based newspaper Marca have quizzed the ‘Madridistas’ on their thoughts on each of the first team players.

Interestingly, the long-serving duo of Karim Benzema and Marcelo come off worse than all their teammates.

Benzema started the 2018/19 season in excellent form but has failed to find the back of the net in his last six outings.

Marcelo, 30, is in his 13th season as a Real Madrid player but has an 84% disapproval rating among the fans.

The Champions League holders will be desperate to return to winning ways when they visit Deportivo Alaves on Saturday.

Lopetegui is confident that - with the help of his teammates - Benzema will “get back on the goal trail” soon.

"We trust in all of the players and that goes for Karim too," Lopetegui told reporters.

"When it comes to scoring goals, you go through spells. He made a great start to the season, and now, just like the rest of the team, he's not managing to find the net.

"With hard work and by keeping calm, we'll get back on the goal trail. However, it's not just down to Karim, it's the whole team's responsibility."
