WWE has released a list of their top 15 SmackDown superstars of all-time on their website in preparation for their SmackDown 1000 show taking place later this month.

SmackDown 1000 is set to take place in Washington, D.C. on October 16 and it will be a celebration of the show's 1000th episode.

As a result, several big names from the show's history will be at the event, as well as superstars currently on WWE's blue brand roster.

Names like AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Samoa Joe, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair, as well as legends like The Undertaker.

In preparation for the show, WWE has released a list of their top 15 SmackDown superstars of all-time, which includes a surprising top three.

The Rock, The Deadman, and The Phenomenal One make up the top three on the list, while SmackDown legend Edge only comes in at number four, followed by Eddie Guerrero.

Some might find it surprising that The Usos are at number eight, while John Cena only receives 13th on the list.

It's a bit surprising to not see Edge inside the top three considering what he did for SmackDown during his run with the WWE.

No disrespect towards Styles, but The Rated R Superstar should be placed higher than him, as he's only been on SmackDown for the past two years.

Some fans might even rank The Undertaker over The Rock as well, and place Randy Orton and John Cena inside the top 10, rather than at 12 and 13 respectively.

It's also odd that Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, or Daniel Bryan haven't been placed on this list considering what they have done for the blue brand over the years.

Fingers crossed we get to see some of the names included on this list at SmackDown 1000 later this month.
