There is no question that Elias is one of the most over acts in the WWE right now. This past Monday on Raw, the former Drifter had one of the most memorable moments on the WWE's flagship show in recent memory. They call it 'nuclear heat', as Elias and Kevin Owens spoke to Seattle and told them having a basketball team in that city was stupid.Amazing. Elias has become one of the most entertaining superstars in the WWE period, but comparisons between the Hollywood version of The Rock from 2003 and Elias remain.Of course, the Great One used to garner tremendous reactions with his heel persona at the tail-end of his full-time career - remember Toronto? - but many might argue that Elias has taken it up a notch in terms of a gimmick. One man who would argue that is Elias himself. Although he is yet to wear gold in the WWE, he is featured on Raw every week with his own segments and he has also released his own album.GiveMeSport caught up with Elias at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando at a preview of WWE 2K19 and we asked him if The Rock was an influence of his and would they meet in the ring one day.

Elias has called out The Rock several times at this point and the Brahma Bull is yet to bite.

It would be a monumental moment in Elias' career if he could rub shoulders with The Rock and this isn't the first time he has called out the former 10-time WWE champion.

"The Rock showed up, he did a song or two here and there maybe did a half dozen times or something like that in his life but he never did what I do. Which like a said, I'm on there (Raw) every single week, millions around the world every week, 10s of thousands of people every single week - The Rock cannot do what I can," he told Complex.

"People have thrown out the idea of a challenge, a sing-off or some sort of guitar-off. Rock, if you're out there and you hear this and you're listening, you're welcome to come and 'Walk with Elias' whenever you want to.
