"I want to say sorry to the athletic commission, sorry to [Las] Vegas. I know this is not my best side."Khabib Nurmagomedov has been very apologetic for the violent scenes he caused following Saturday night's victory over Conor McGregor at UFC 229.After making McGregor tap out with a rear-naked choke in the fourth round, the Russian jumped over the Octagon cage and hurled himself at his opponents' team in the crowd. It was in retaliation to all the abuse he's received over the past 10 months from McGregor, who infamously attacked Nurmagomedov's team bus back in April. However, Nurmagomedov believes the focus should be on McGregor and the actions that led to the brawl, rather than the brawl itself."I don't understand how people can say I jumped on the cage," added Nurmagomedov. "He talked about my religion, my family, he came to Brooklyn and could have killed people on the bus."Why are we talking about me climbing on the cage. My father taught me to be respectful. Today he tapped, the belt is here, undisputed, undefeated UFC lightweight champion."This is a respectful sport, not a trash-talking sport. I want to change the game, you cannot talk about religion, about nationality."Nurmagomedov threw a series of punches at McGregor's team after leaping over the cage, with McGregor taking a few hits inside, too.New fan footage has now emerged of the moment Nurmagomedov jumped into the crowd and it's as crazy as it sounds. Check it out.

Here's another slightly less revealing angle.

Mental scenes. McGregor can also be seen getting sucker punched by Nurmagomedov's partner in the Octagon to spark another fight.

It will be very interesting to hear what the Notorious has to say about it all.
