Kurt Angle has had a long and storied professional wrestling career spanning 19 years now, and he's not quite done yet.

The 1996 Olympic gold medallist has done it all in the business and at 49-years-old, some might say his body can't cope with any more wrestling.

Angle is a six-time world champion in the WWE and is a Gram Slam champion, too. He was one of, if not the best wrestler in the world for large parts of his initial run with WWE from 1999-06.

However, issues with prescription drugs forced WWE to let Angle go and the American Hero made TNA his home for the next 11 years.

Angle returned to WWE ahead of WrestleMania 33 in 2017 and has been the general manager of Raw ever since, but fans will always remember his original run in the company.

During that run, Angle had a memorable feud with the late, legendary Eddie Guerrero over the WWE title.

Eddie was said to be struggling physically during this time of his career and would struggle to move around backstage, but Angle always maintained a close bond with Latino Heat.

During a Facebook Q&A session, Angle revealed how close the two were back in the day. Thanks to Wrestling Inc for the quotes.

"Eddie and I were so close", Kurt responded. "Like brothers. Some days we got along, other days we fought... literally! We had a fight once backstage 15 years ago. We always treated each other like brothers though."

While Angle didn't reveal details of the fight, anybody who knows anything about Kurt Angle knows he's one of the toughest shoot wrestlers or fighters the WWE has ever seen. So, we can't imagine that would have gone well for Eddie.

Still, these things happen in the WWE. Some other famous backstage incidents in WWE saw Chris Jericho and Goldberg come to blows (also in 2003) and Booker T beat up Batista in 2005.

Further on in the Q&A, Angle also revealed that Daniel Bryan is his dream match in WWE.

"Daniel IS my dream match. To be honest, I'm not sure that I'm his dream match. It takes two to tango."
