Conor McGregor's defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 on Saturday evening is going to be spoken about for a very long time.In what was arguably the biggest fight in UFC history due to McGregor making his long-awaited return, Nurmagomedov came out on top via a fourth-round submission. It meant the Russian defended his lightweight title at the T-Mobile Arena, while McGregor suffered his fourth career defeat in MMA.However, the biggest talking point was undoubtedly what happened in the aftermath.Nurmagomedov jumped over the Octagon cage and launched himself at McGregor's team in the crowd, specifically the Irishman's teammate, Dillon Danis. The pair threw punches at each other until security managed to break them up. In the meantime, McGregor was in a scrap of his own inside the ring after getting sucker punched. Both fighters have since had their say on social media and now snippets of conversation between them during the bout are starting to emerge. In the video below, McGregor can clearly be heard telling Nurmagomedov, "It's only business," at the end of the third round, to which his opponent replies, "I guess so."McGregor was losing heavily at this point so from an outside perspective it looks like he knew he was in trouble.Paul Malignaggi, who's previously had beef with McGregor, has now reacted to the footage and mocked the Notorious for biting off more than he can chew.

"The moment u [sic] realize ur mouth been signin checks ur ass can't cash," wrote the former American boxer.

"Only a true b**** talks the way [McGregor] does N then tries 2 play nice when the ass whippin is starin him in the face."

Ouch. McGregor has now been mocked by 50 Cent and Malignaggi on Twitter, so you get the feeling it's only a matter of time before he responds.
