Dana White was furious after the events of UFC 229 over the weekend.
Just seconds after defending his lightweight title, Khabib Nurmagomedov shocked the sporting world by launching himself over the octagon and into Conor McGregor's team.
A melee quickly unfolded at the T-Mobile Arena with members of the Russian contingent jumping into the cage to attack McGregor and no less than three arrests being made on the night.
The fracas was a terrible moment for the UFC and White was keen to express his disappointment quickly after the event.
During an interview with FOX Sport, the UFC President lamented: "A lot of stuff that shouldn't have happened.
Khabib sparks UFC 229 drama
"Khabib jumped over the cage going after one of Conor's guys who was talking trash to him.
"I said if we put the belt on him in the octagon, they're going to throw whatever they've got into the octagon. I said, let's try to get him out of here without any incident."
Thankfully - give or take a few thrown beers - there was no more drama as Nurmagomedov left the area surrounded by a police escort and the aftershocks have simmered down in recent days.
Dana White vs UFC fan
Everyone associated with the UFC is simply waiting to discover how the Nevada State Athletic Commission will treat both fighters.
And it seems White is beginning to forgive his lightweight champion with the 49-year-old posting about Nurmagomedov on Instagram this week.
He re-posted the viral meme of a bear saying: "Excuse me Mrs Nurmagomedov, can Khabib come out to play?"
It certainly seemed a little strange just days after the Russian brought disgrace upon his company and it received some interesting reactions from UFC fans, one of which prompted a reply from White.
User @k.mb4ppe commented: "so Khabib is your golden boy now? And rightfully so, that man deserves so much more from the UFC!!"

Despite posting the meme, it's clear that White was angered by suggestions that Nurmagomedov is his 'golden boy' after the events in Las Vegas.
It seems the UFC President wants to maintain a sound relationship with one of his most talented fighters, while still letting him know the severity of his post-fight actions.
The ramifications of the brawl are yet to be discovered, but there's every reason to suggest Nurmagomedov could be banned from fighting in the USA for the foreseeable future.
It would be a huge blow to the UFC and could force them to schedule fights with the champion back in Russia or elsewhere across Europe.
The situation is now in the hands of the powers that be in Nevada and White might not find the bear meme so funny if a hefty suspension is the verdict.
