When it comes to the use of social media, it seems that a lot of people either love it or they hate it, but one thing is for sure, it has definitely changed the lifestyle of celebrities and sports stars, with fans getting a closer insight into, not only the lives of these stars, but also a bit more of a look into their minds.
We have seen so many of these celebrities and sport stars posting things on their social media accounts which they really should have thought twice about, but once it is out there, it will be there forever, no matter how quickly they manage to delete it.
Which brings us to the Wasps rugby star Nathan Hughes, who just seems to continue to find himself in a lot of trouble recently, and has not been doing himself any favours by making things worse with his social media activity.
Nathan has recently been going through an independent disciplinary hearing, which took place on Wednesday October 11, following allegations that Hughes punched opposition player Lewis Ludlow of Gloucester during their Premiership match at the Ricoh Arena at the weekend.
Well, it appears that Hughes decided to take to his official Twitter account to post about his hearing, which has landed the Wasps number eight in even more trouble, with many suspecting that he could well land a fine for his actions.
As we mentioned, Nathan did manage to delete the tweet from his Twitter account, but by then it was too late and far too many people had already witnessed it.
The tweet in question read, "What a joke" and has been regarded by many as being a direct criticism of the disciplinary hearing and has resulted in the hearing being postponed for no less than seven days.
You can see the deleted tweet in question below.
It was expected that the outcome of that initial hearing would see Nathan Hughes facing a six-week ban for the punch which he landed on Lewis Ludlow, but now it will no doubt be a more severe punishment.
Nathan will already miss the upcoming Champions Cup match between his Wasps side and Lenister on Friday at the RDS Arena in Dublin, while it now looks like he could also be set to miss out on his place in the England squad for the end of year Tests, all because of a silly tweet on social media.
When are these sports stars going to learn?
