Barnsley defender Jay McEveley will undergo a scan to determine the full extent of the knee injury sustained at Burnley.

The 24-year-old was stretchered off midway through the second half of the 3-0 defeat at Turf Moor and is understood to have damaged medial knee ligaments.

McEveley has been a virtual ever-present in manager Mark Robins' starting line-up following his summer switch from Derby and was included in Craig Levein's Scotland squad for Euro 2012 qualifiers against Lithuania and Liechtenstein in September.
