Torquay have taken QPR striker Ramone Rose on trial.

The 20-year-old impressed in the Gulls reserves 3-2 win over local rivals Plymouth on Tuesday.

After defender Joe Oastler also joined on loan from the Hoops last week, manager Paul Buckle is likely to ask Neil Warnock if he can acquire Rose on a short-term loan deal to bolster his striking options and try to end his side's 10 game winless streak.
