There has been bad blood between Chris Eubank Jr and Billy Joe Saunders for many years now.The two British fighters met in the ring back in 2014, with Saunders winning by unanimous decision and booking a world title fight against Andy Lee.Saunders would win that fight to claim the WBO middleweight belt, which he held onto until this week when he vacated it.His scheduled mandatory defence against Demetrius Andrade was abandoned due to a failed VADA drug test. The Massachusetts commission refused to hand him a licence due to the presence of oxilofrine, which Frank Warren claims came from a nasal spray.Saunders and his team are set to appeal after losing a purse of around $2.3m.It's a sad state of affairs for the 29-year-old, who has now not fought since December 16, when he outclassed David Lemieux in Canada. Not long ago, Saunders was being linked with potential bouts against both Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin. He was also very critical of the Mexican failing a drugs test before he fought Golovkin and Eubank Jr has decided to remind his long-standing foe of just that on Twitter.

EUBANK'S TWEET

Eubank wrote: "So @bjsaunders_ how long you been taking illegal substances for son? It’s funny how you were giving it to Canelo while you were cheating with drugs yourself.

"Enjoy your time out & don’t worry the belt you’ve been stripped of will be in more deserving hands soon enough #Justice."

Yet another war of words between the pair has begun.

Eubank himself looks set for a huge all-British fight on December 8, with Boxing Scene claiming a deal is in place for a bout against James De Gale in London.

After his victory over JJ McDonagh last time out, Eubank will be desperate for a big win on his CV to try and get over his loss to George Groves back in February.
