Kell Brook and Amir Khan's mega-fight looks closer than ever to being sorted. After years of speculation, the two Brits look set to finally go toe-to-toe in 2019, with both currently signed up to Eddie Hearn's Matchroom.Khan this week has spoke about his demands for the fight to go ahead. He's stated that Brook must come down from super-welterweight to his welterweight limit of 147lbs, with a 10lb rehydration clause.Brook has since stated that he has not agreed to that clause, but is willing to come down to Khan's weight limit to make the fight happen. The Sheffield man was in Newcastle to watch Lewis Ritson's unexpected loss to Francesco Patera and gave quite a bizarre interview from the crowd. It was another rant about Khan, but at one point, Brook said: "I haven’t really lost, I lost with two broken eye sockets - so have I really lost?"Yeah, that's not how it works.Brook's two losses to Gennady Golovkin and Errol Spence Jr were more than deserving, regardless of his injuries in both fights.Safe to say, boxing fans had to give Brook a piece of their mind.

BOXING FANS REACT

Brook made the brave step up in weight to fight Golovkin, but was eventually destroyed by the Kazakh's power.

As for Spence, the American simply schooled Brook in his hometown, inflicting the injury which caused the Englishman to retire.

Sadly, they count as losses in the sport of boxing.

Prior to his appearance in Newcastle, Brook went on his most savage Khan rant yet speaking to Behind The Gloves.

“Listen, bottom line, he’s a f***y hole, he’s a little b**ch,” Brook said.

“He’s gonna have to take the fight because everyone’s looking at him now and thinking: ‘What are you talking about?’

“He’s making things up, saying I agreed on the 10lbs thing. Why would I agree on that? It’s a joke. He is a joke.

“I’m the welterweight king in Britain, so don’t claim that you are unless you get in there with me.”

When they finally meet, there is going to be fireworks.
