Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather believes Khabib Nurmagomedov will receive a “huge fine” following his part in the brawl that marred his win over Conor McGregor at UFC 229.

“With a guy jumping out the cage into the audience and fighting different people, the fine is gonna be crazy,” Mayweather said.

The Russian and McGregor have both been suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, with the commission meeting on October 24 to determine whether to extend the suspensions.

The entire affair is a messy one. Nurmagomedov, whose fight purse has been withheld, has threatened to leave the UFC if they fire his teammate Zubaira Tukhugov, who is alleged to have hit McGregor.

Sensing an opportunity, American rapper 50 Cent has offered Nurmagomedov $2 million to fight for Bellator.

Whether it’s with the UFC or Bellator, Nurmagomedov’s future remains in the fighting industry.

But he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a dramatic switch to boxing, either.

Khabib's message to Floyd

That’s right. Footage has emerged of Nurmagomedov demanding a boxing match - with none other than Mayweather.

Nurmagomedov is seen with the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Leonard Ellerbe, when he challenges ‘Money’ to a boxing match.

“Hey let’s go Floyd, we have to fight now,” Nurmagomedov says.

“50-0 versus 27-0. Two guys, never never like lose.

“In the jungle, only one king.

“Of course I am the king because he cannot drop McGregor. But I dropped him easily!”

Well. Anyone else eager for this one?

McGregor, of course, swapped the Octagon for a boxing match against Mayweather in 2017.

The American’s experience told, with Mayweather extending his record to 50-0 with a comfortable TKO win.

It seems as if Nurmagomedov would be willing to make the same switch.

And he showed in the second round against McGregor just how devastating he can be when he lands with his right hand.
