Shawn Michaels is set for his first match in over eight years next month, as he teams up with Triple H to take on Kane and The Undertaker.

Michaels was retired by the Deadman at WrestleMania 26, and unlike other superstars who hung up the boots and went back on their word, it looked like HBK would be sticking to his promise.

But after seeds were planted for another match with Taker on Raw last month, the official confirmation of Michaels' return occurred last Monday.

A titanic tussle was set for Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 2 - D-Generation X against the Brothers of Destruction.

Surprisingly, the two teams haven't crossed paths in their illustrious careers, and they still might not in the originally-planned location, with plans up-in-the-air after WWE's relationship with the Saudi Government was questioned by U.S. Senators this week.

The Saudi's are reportedly paying up to $50 Million per show whenever WWE come to the country, and considering it's twice annually for 10 years, that's a heck of lot of money.

You can now see why HBK decided to return to the squared circle, and it would be easy for him to just take one match and then go back to watching from the sidelines.

But it was revealed by sources at Ringside News yesterday that Michaels is planning on working WrestleMania 35, and WrestleTalk have exclusively revealed that they've heard who he's facing.

They have said that a WWE source has confirmed to them that Michaels will step into the ring against none other than AJ Styles at the MetLife Stadium in New York, in what would be an absolute dream match for the WWE Universe.

Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer recently stated that he doesn't think fans will see the match as Shawn would only return for the huge financial gain on offer for appearing in Saudi Arabia.

But with murmurings in recent weeks of a potential Survivor Series or Royal Rumble bout against Taker, and wanting to compete at WrestleMania again, the once in a lifetime match has more chance of happening than ever before.
