Over the past couple of weeks on Monday Night Raw, WWE had been building towards the eventual split of The Shield, with Dean Ambrose turning on his brothers. However, when the main event of Raw arrived last night, The Lunatic Fringe didn't turn despite an in-match tease. Instead, he helped The Hounds of Justice win their match vs Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler. The Shield didn't come to blows against one another. Their opponents, the Dogs of War, did instead.During the match, McIntyre teased a possible breakup of their stable when he delivered a Claymore kick to Strowman by accident, if that's what you want to believe.Following their defeat, more implosion occurred for the Dogs of War, with The Monster Among Men delivering a Running Powerslam to Ziggler.Defending his tag team partner, McIntyre quickly responded by hitting Braun with a second Claymore kick.

While The Chosen One came to the defense of The Showoff in the ring, he ended up leaving up the ramp to backstage on his own, further implying that the Dogs of War stable is a thing of the past.

It looks as though Strowman's next feud in WWE following his clash with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel for the Universal Championship will be against McIntyre.

WWE fans will be glad to see the company splitting up the Dogs of War to allow The Monster Among Men and The Chosen One to become the singles stars they were supposed to be.

While a feud of Strowman vs McIntyre will be entertaining to watch, WWE fans would love it even more if it ends up having the Universal title included as well.

This could depend on The Monster Among Men winning the title at Crown Jewel next month, but the company could get around this by including Reigns in the feud they do with Strowman and McIntyre.

Either way, it looks as though the Dogs of War are no more, and WWE fans can't wait to see what happens next.
