During SmackDown 1000 this week, Evolution made their return to the WWE as well as their debut on the blue brand show.Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton, and Batista all appeared in the middle of the ring to share their memories of their time together as a stable and how it helped their careers. However, when The Animal was on the mic, he also planted the seeds towards another match between himself and The Game at a future date with comments he made about his Evolution teammate.Batista stated how Triple H has done so many things for the WWE over the years, helping the business transform into what it is today. The one thing he hadn't done though was defeated him. This received a huge pop from the crowd as they enjoyed the intense staredown between the two WWE legends in the ring afterward, but more than just the crowd reacted to the confrontation.

WWE fans on Twitter noticed how Orton was reacting to the confrontation between The Animal and The Game as The Viper was pulling funny faces throughout the intense promo between the Evolution members.

Batista poured his soul out at SmackDown 1000, going after Triple H’s ego, and Orton absolutely loved it.

The Viper will go down as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all-time, but sometimes he doesn't receive the credit he deserves. It's moments like this that give fans a gentle reminder of what a great superstar he is.

It now looks as though WWE has planted the seeds towards a match between Batista and Triple H at WrestleMania 35 next year, which should be a fantastic match.

This would be The Animal's long-awaited return to the squared circle, and possibly his last match in the WWE. Last night was his first WWE appearance since 2014.

If they do book this match, fingers crossed Orton is in the background once again for any heated confrontation between these two, as the faces he was pulling on this occasion were brilliant.
