Any wrestling fan that has watched NXT will be able to tell you it's probably the best product in the WWE right now, maybe even the world.
The stacked roster is an independent fans dream with the WWE level of production to boot, but the writing has always stood out too.
Triple H's brainchild always seems to keep itself fresh and with the latest 'who attacked Aleister Black' angle, it looks like the Yellow Brand has done it again.
Black, who had just dropped the NXT title to Tomasso Ciampa, was attacked in the car par of NXT HQ and was found laid out.
Of course, this was to write Black off of TV for a while because of a surgery he needed to get, but the 'who done it' conspiracies have raged on ever since.
Nikki Cross has intimated several times over the past few weeks that she actually knows who did it, but at last night's NXT tapings at Full Sail University, it appears now we all know.
As you can see from the tweets, Johnny Gargano - the consummate babyface - seems to be the villain behind this dastardly attack.
It's sure to be another wrinkle in Gargano's character as he looks to dethrone his former tag team partner from the NXT title and it will probably just be a matter of Gargano showing there are no lengths he won't go to in order to get to Ciampa.
Still, it was very cool that NXT had a long-running storyline like this. Almost a throwback to who ran over Stone Cold Seve Austin (spoiler, that was Rikishi).
Gargano and Ciampa will certainly meet again down the line and one has to imagine the payoff in this storyline between the two former DIY men will see Gargano finally climb to the top of the mountain and claim the NXT title.
That probably won't happen until the NXT TakeOver show during WrestleMania weekend in New York, so NXT is going to have to stay creative in the next six months to retain interest.
