Batista made his first WWE appearance since 2014 this week on SmackDown 1000, and he made quite the impact during this appearance as well.
Appearing alongside his Evolution brothers Ric Flair, Randy Orton, and Triple H, The Animal teased having one more run in the WWE before calling it a day on his in-ring career for good.
Batista did promos on Orton, Flair, and The Game, before he called out the latter for accomplishing so much in his WWE career, but never being able to beat him.
The two then had a staredown in the middle of the ring before hugging it out as the segment ended, but no WWE fan believes this is the end.
There is a belief that WWE could be running with this feud as soon as Survivor Series next month, but this might not be the case according to the Wrestling Observer Radio, via Rajah.
According to them, WWE is looking to really drag out any possible Triple H vs. Batista program. Therefore, we're more likely to see the two square off in the ring at WrestleMania next year, rather than at Survivor Series in November.
Dave Meltzer added as well that it is unknown how often The Animal will be around or on WWE TV, but it's no secret that he wants to come back and work a match with The Game.
Batista vs Triple H should be a fantastic match, and it will likely be the former's last match for the company before hanging up his wrestling gear for good, so it deserves to take place on the grandest wrestling stage of them all.
More than likely, WWE will find a way to get Orton and Flair involved in this feud as well to bring all members of Evolution together once more.
Also, a match between the two at WrestleMania will provide Triple H with the perfect opportunity to get a win at the show, as he hasn't won a match at WWE's biggest show of the year for several years now.
