Arsenal’s players are loving life right now. After losing their first two matches of the season, the Gunners have hit back with nine straight wins in all competitions. The defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea in August suggest Unai Emery’s side may not be able to compete for the Premier League title, but there have been some encouraging signs nonetheless. Not least in the form of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette. Many wondered whether the two would be able to play together but Emery is using them both perfectly. Both scored a brace in the 5-1 win over Fulham before the international break, with Lacazette starting and Aubameyang shining from off the bench. If the pair can continue their current form then the Gunners will certainly be tough to stop.

Lacazette performs the robot

Next up is a home clash against Leicester City on Monday evening, and Lacazette and Aubameyang seem in high spirits for it.

Arsenal posted a video on Twitter of the Frenchman banging in a penalty, with Aubameyang watching on.

Lacazette proceeds to show off a new celebration that we haven’t seen from him before - the robot.

When football fans think of the robot, they think of Peter Crouch - particularly England fans.

And the Stoke City striker had to react on Twitter after seeing Lacazette break out his trademark dance.

“My lawyers will be in touch,” Crouch tweeted.

Quality banter, Crouch.

Arsenal reacted to his tweet with the perfect GIF.

Crouch will be keeping an eye out to see if Lacazette performs his celebration if he scores against Leicester.

Victory would ensure Arsenal keep pace with Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.

We’re yet to see the Gunners receive a true test since their 3-2 defeat to Chelsea, but that will change when they host Jurgen Klopp’s unbeaten side on November 3.
