It's safe to say not all fans are going to agree on what superstars get pushed, which ones don't and their respective positions on the card. For years, talents like Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder and many more had the overwhelming support of the fans, but, ultimately, if Vince McMahon doesn't want to push that certain star, it doesn't matter. One man that the WWE Universe typically wishes could enjoy more opportunities is Finn Balor. The eternally-smiley Irishman was, of course, the first-ever Universal champion but a serious shoulder injury would see him relinquish the title the very next night.Since then, it's been hard work for Balor who remains over-like-crazy with the fans. His entrance shows the mass support he has, but he hasn't been able to grab the gold again since.Right now, Balor seems to be on a collision course with Bobby Lashley, even though he has spent the last month or so tangling with Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox alongside Bayley in, perhaps, the most nondescript feud ever. Now, Balor has been opening up live event for the WWE and seems further away from the title picture than ever.A fan called WWE out about the Demon's treatment on Twitter and even tagged Cody Rhodes in the post so the Bullet Club member could save him from the WWE.

Rhodes said: "Opening match is sometimes one of the more coveted spots on the card. Bunch of responsibility too...and for the biggest wrestling company in the world as well."

Rhodes, the NWA world champion, is spot on here. The opening match of the night sets the tone for the show and gets the crowd fired up. Balor was also in the opening match at WrestleMania 34 against The Miz and Seth Rollins - no way can that be deemed as anything but a good thing.

Balor is 37-years-old now and probably wants to spend his prime years on the biggest show possible. After all, he has done pretty much everything there is to do on the indies and in Japan.

He is unquestionably a main event-level talent and it would be a crime if he didn't win another world title before his time in the WWE is done. However, with big men like Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman currently in the title picture, that sounds like a tough sell to Vince McMahon.

A move to SmackDown or a heel turn with some naughty friends could be what Balor needs.
