SmackDown's 1000th episode saw many returns - Edge, Rey Mysterio and Batista just to name a few.

But the week before saw an in-ring comeback of another WWE great in the form of the seven-foot giant - Big Show.

The World's Largest Athlete hadn't been seen in a wrestling capacity since being put through a steel cage by Braun Strowman on an episode of Raw last year.

After undergoing a hip surgery, Show took on an ambassadorial role within the company, which seemingly meant his time between the ropes was coming to a close.

However he was surprisingly booked for a bout on the blue brand two weeks ago against Randy Orton, in what served as a qualifier for the WWE World Cup.

The Viper ended up taking the victory, but backstage officials must have been convinced enough with Big Show's performance, as he was back on SmackDown this past week.

And he marked the occasion in a way only he knows best - with a heel turn of course.

By judging it off this list, it would be the 34th heel turn of an illustrious career, and to be honest, no-one really saw it coming this time.

It looked like he was going to help The New Day against Cesaro and Sheamus, but Show turned his attentions to Kofi Kingston, Chokeslamming him through the announcers table, leading to Sheamus Brogue Kicking Big E to claim the SmackDown Tag Team titles.

Like the 'Dogs of War' on Raw, it looks like we have another three-man alliance on SmackDown, and like any faction, they'll probably need a team name going forward - and WWE have apparently been mooting with one particular name.

That name, according to PWInsider, is 'Showbar'.

Yes, you read that right - Showbar.

Mike Johnson claims that people backstage were referring to the three as such, so it's pretty possible that it might be an actual thing going forward on television.

It might not materialise as such, but it feels a bit cringe to us.
