Don't you just love Sundays in October? Another week, another NFL game at Wembley.

This time, the Tennessee Titans take on the Los Angeles Chargers in the home of football and we will be getting to see former Heisman winner Marcus Mariota take on the wily veteran Philip Rivers and his Chargers teammates.

The Titans struggled badly last week in a big loss to the Baltimore Ravens, while the Chargers will be bouncing into London following a very nice 38-14 win over another AFC North side, the Cleveland Browns. Let's take a look at the big storylines heading into the game.

1) Titans Line Struggles

Coming off the back of that humiliating defeat to the Ravens, it was clear for all to see where the Titans struggles came from.

The offensive line, one that many in Tennessee considered to be a Top-6 Line in the entire league, played atrociously all night long.

Giving up 11 sacks to Baltimore, yes you read that correctly *ELEVEN* sacks, the Titans o-Line never gave Marcus Mariota a chance to succeed. They’ll need to improve today otherwise this game could get real ugly, real fast.

2) Can Melvin Go?

A late addition to this list sees the inclusion of Chargers running back Melvin Gordon and the question marks surrounding his health.

Despite receiving no inclination that he could be held out of the Wembley game due to injury during the week, LA added their star playmaker to the injury report very late on with a ‘Questionable’ tag due to a dodgy hamstring.

Gordon is going to go through a pre-game workout and test it out, but if there are any concerns the Chargers are going to wrap him in cotton wool and keep him on the sidelines.

3) Austin Gets His Chance

With Gordon looking likely to miss the game, and the latest word coming from Adam Schefter that he’s a major doubt to play, it means that Austin Ekeler is likely to take his place.

Ekeler has been the number two in the Chargers 1-2 punch at RB over the last season and now gets his chance to prove he can be more than that.

The former Western Colorado running back, who went undrafted in 2017, has 470 combined yards and three touchdowns on the season so far. With Wembley generally being running back friendly, Ekeler could have a breakout party in London.

4) Step Up LaFleur

Heading into the 2018 season, Titans fans were ecstatic for what they could be able to do on offense after suffering through a few seasons of Mike Mularkey's ultimately rubbish 'Exotic Smashmouth' offense.

A move was made to bring in exciting up-and-comer Matt LaFleur as the new offensive coordinator and it was met with a lot of optimism.

And rightly so. LaFleur worked with Los Angeles Rams mastermind Sean McVay, one of the best offensive gameplanners in the league, and also spent two seasons under one of the league's other best offensive guys - Kyle Shanahan - while with the Redskins.

The Titans were expecting a similar explosive offense, but we haven't seen it yet. The running back tandem of Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis should be great, but they have struggled, while Mariota is also finding it hard to do anything from under center.

Will that change this Sunday? We sure hope so.
