When Mesut Ozil is on song, there's just no stopping him.Arsenal extended their brilliant run of form to 10 consecutive victories against Leicester City and Ozil was the star performer on an impressive night at the Emirates Stadium.Despite a shaky start which saw the Foxes take the lead through a Hector Bellerin own goal, the German midfielder entered the half-time break with a superb goal to his name. And his inspirational performance didn't end after the first 45 minutes with Ozil showing exactly why he has so many assists on his record. The 30-year-old sliced open the Leicester defence with an unbelievable pass to pave the way for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's first on the night.

Ozil's masterclass vs Leicester

He then provided the assist itself for Aubameyang's brace, deftly flicking the ball across the six-yard box at the end of a move started by Bernd Leno.

For anyone in attendance in north London or watching from home, it was something of a footballing clinic and a reminder that Ozil is unstoppable on his day.

However, his performance was more than just goals and assists, there was plenty more for Arsenal fans to get excited about.

Ozil's brilliant individual highlights

Everywhere across the pitch, Ozil showed his class and also displayed the leadership qualities expected of him when sporting the captain's armband.

And in the aftermath of the victory, a football fan has compiled Ozil's entire individual highlights from the game and it illustrates just how brilliant he was.

From incisive runs into the final third, delicate build-up in the midfield and a deadly final pass, he barely put a foot wrong. Check out the video below:

Ozil gets his fair share of criticism at Arsenal, but there was only praise last night.

Perhaps after two months under Unai Emery, the team is finally starting to get the best out of their German maestro who had somewhat stagnated after his contract extension.

Arsenal could launch a promising campaign upon the top four if Ozil plays like that every week and they continue to pick off teams below the top six.

The Gunners were guilty of dropping points in games they should have won last season, but their current form under Emery shows a newfound solidarity and maturity.

And with the amount of quality in their team at the moment, even a hectic first-half can't stop them from turning on the style when they need to.

Crystal Palace are up next for Arsenal and the Eagles will certainly will be fearing Ozil after Monday night.
