After Roman Reigns devastatingly revealed his 11-year battle with leukemia had returned, his best friends Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins met him on the stage and shared a heart-warming embrace. The trio first arrived on the main roster at Survivor Series 2012, and have delivered justice and beatings ever since.Of course they split up in 2014, and their reunion in 2017 only lasted a few months before Ambrose got injured, but their latest revival had so much potential. In recent weeks, there has been intense teasing surrounding a heel turn for the Lunatic Fringe, with factors such as Rollins recruiting Jason Jordan as a tag partner just weeks after Ambrose was sidelined reasoning for his dissatisfaction.Ambrose has stuck by his 'brothers' though, and after last weeks six-man tag victory over Braun Strowman and tag team champions Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre, he and Rollins were given a shot at Ziggler and McIntyre's belts in the main event of last nights Raw.And with Braun Strowman gunning for the Scottish Psychopath, it made their goal a lot easier. With McIntyre out of the occasion after The Monster Among Men chased him away into the crowd, Rollins put away Ziggler with the Curbstomp to reclaim the tag team gold, but the happiness was only brief. As the celebrations started, Ambrose dropped his belt - and laid out his partner with a Dirty Deeds, effectively confirming his heel turn.

After the events earlier in the evening surrounding their stable-mate Reigns, literally no-one could see the turn coming.

It was supposed to be a feel-good moment for Ambrose and Rollins, but it was all shattered instantly.

The brutality of the beating was quite something as well, so much so that Ambrose received genuine heat and loud boos for his actions, which climaxed with another Dirty Deeds, but this time to the exposed concrete floor.

Fans were praising WWE going all-in with the angle though, especially with the risky timing, and some even claimed that it was the best heel turn ever.
